Good news!!!

EarlyON Child and Family Centre – Leeds and Grenville is re-opening for in-person outdoor programming in Brockville, Gananoque, Kemptville, Limerick Forest and other communities throughout Leeds and Grenville. There will be limited spaces. If people prefer to participate from home, the virtual programs will continue each week. Please share this information with families and caregivers who would benefit from the information.

Registration is required for all in-person and interactive virtual programs.

COVID-19 Screening is also required to be completed within 12 hours of attending each in-person session that you are pre-registered to attend. 

COVID protocols are in place fore everyone’s protection. The Participant Expectations will be shared with you when you arrive at your pre-registered session. Please see below:

Play: Did you know? - A video series is for parents and caregivers with children birth to 6 years is posted to Facebook on Mondays at 9:00 a.m. Each video explores simple play-based experiences and activities to support a child's early learning and development at home. Check it out for ideas to keep young children busy at home.

Have questions about you and your baby?

TEAMS Baby Talk is a live and interactive program for parents with children birth to 12 months using the Microsoft TEAMS interactive platform. There are weekly topics and a live chat with an EarlyON Resource Consultant on offered on Mondays, 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. Call 1-866-433-8933 ext. 2374 to register. Registration is required. A Microsoft TEAMS link will be emailed to registered participants the day of the session.

Closed Facebook Baby Talk Chat Group - A closed Facebook group, a virtual space, for parents of babies birth to 12 months to connect and share information. This group is moderated using #LIVETEXTCHAT on Thursdays, 1:30 to 3:00 p.m. by an EarlyON Resource Consultant. Drop-in for a text chat to discuss the weekly topic, ask a question or check out the posts. You may access the posts & discussions and ask your questions when you have time through the week.

Parenting Pit Stop! – A closed Facebook group, a virtual space, for parents and caregivers to connect, refuel, & share this incredible journey of parenting children, ages 1-6 years old. Just like a road trip, parenting comes with its own detours, unfamiliar roads and plenty of distractions. Navigating the parenting journey and avoiding obstacles is easier when you feel prepared, supported and know when to pull over for a quick break to refuel and yes, occasionally ask for directions! This is your Parenting Pit Stop --- one stop to connect with the tools, supports and information you need for a smoother journey, with you totally in the driver's seat. Posts and group discussions will focus on popular topics like child development, play-based learning, refueling with self-care and other topics that matter to you and support your personal journey.

Drop-in for a text chat to discuss the weekly topic, ask a question or cruise in and out to access posts, information or chat with others at your own speed and schedule. You may access the posts & discussions and ask your questions when you have time through the week.

The Resource Consultants are looking forward to connecting with you in that virtual space.
