Seedy Saturday is a Seed and Seedling Swap that will run on Sat, April 22 from 9:00 am –12:00 pm at the Merrickville Library (outside, weather permitting). Bring seeds or seedlings to give away, to exchange, or just come to pick some up – and see what’s available in the Seed Library!

Don’t miss our mini-gardening talks! We’re excited to welcome Diana Beresford-Kroeger, renowned botanist and environmentalist to speak about preserving rare plants and trees. We’ll also have mini-talks from Harry Tanner (Habitat Seeds) and members of the MaD (Merrickville and District) Gardeners, including tips on starting and saving seeds, Q&A sessions and more. Local seed vendors, Seeds of Diversity, and Canadian Organic Growers will be part of the event – and we’ll have some activities for kids.
