On Thursday September 8, 2022, in an expression of great sorrow at the passing of Queen Elizabeth II, the Village has lowered all flags at Village facilities to half-mast.
At the age of 96 years, Queen Elizabeth II was Britain's longest-reigning monarch and a global figurehead for seven decades.
The Village’s flags will remain at half-mast until sunset on the day of the Queen’s funeral or the memorial service.
