The Ottawa Jazz Festival hits the road for the first time with the Jazz in the Valley Series, bringing exceptional live performances to the heart of eastern Ontario. First up this weekend, on February 7 at the Pews in Merrickville is Jim Bryson, one of Canada’s most respected singer-songwriters and producers who continues to make waves in the music industry with his signature blend of heartfelt lyrics, rich melodies, and masterful storytelling.
With a career spanning over two decades, Bryson has carved out a unique space in the Canadian music landscape, captivating audiences with his evocative songwriting and engaging live performances.
A native of Ottawa, Bryson first gained national recognition with his debut album, The Occasionals and has since released a series of critically acclaimed records, including Somewhere We Will Find Our Place and Tired of Waiting.
