Household Garbage and Recycling- Merrickville Ward
Garbage collection is every Wednesday, unless it is a holiday.
Garbage & recycling must be at curbside by 7:00 a.m.
The contractor, Emterra, collects recyclables on alternate weeks in the Merrickville Ward and transfers all recyclables to a sorting depot.
This alternating system ensures that similar recyclables are collected, thus reducing the risk of mixed loads being rejected.
