During Christmas in Merrickville on December 6th, the Merrickville Lions Club in partnership with the Build a Mountain of Food Program will be holding a non-perishable food donation in front of Merrickville Food Market.  Cash donations will be welcome.  You can also purchase pre-packaged food items in the Food Market for donation.  All proceeds go toward the Lions Club Christmas Hamper Program to provide Christmas dinner for those who may not have one for the holidays.  In 2024, the Lions assembled and distributed 74 Food Hampers.
