The Community Development Coalition was created by Council on June 25, 2025 to  promote community engagement and enhance Merrickville-Wolford’s position as a preferred location to live, work and play.

More specifically, we see in the short term that the coalition can:

• Assume a Convenors Role by bringing people/organizations together to better pool resources and share information; and
• Encourage Engagement of both new and existing members of the community and foster connections to vitalize Merrickville-Wolford.
