Highlights from the June 22nd Regular Council Meeting
- The Minutes were approved from the Meetings on May 25th, June 8th, June 15th, June 16th and Committee of the Whole on June 8th.
- Council approved the By-law to Amend the Regulation of ORVs By-law. The amending By-law includes provisions for winter motorized vehicles.
- Zoning By-law Amendment ZBA-03-2026 (Merrickville Grove) and its relevant By-law was approved.
- The By-laws for Part Lot Control Exemption for Blocks 1 and 12 (Merrickville Grove) were approved and authorized to send to the United Counties of Leeds and Grenville for final approval.
- Council approved and authorized the procurement of a new 2027 - F550 Work Truck and Western Plow for a cost of $90, 841.30 excluding HST, in accordance with the allotted 2026 Capital Budget Line Item.
- Departmental Activity Update reports were received from the Fire/ By-law Enforcement, Clerk, and the CAO/Finance Departments.
- Council received the Blockhouse Museum Operational Update report for information.
- The 2025 Audited Financial Statements were approved as presented for the year ending December 31, 2025.
