The Village of Merrickville-Wolford recognizes the valuable contributions made by community organizations, volunteer groups, and individuals to improve the community and the quality of life for residents and visitors.
The Community Grants Program provides limited financial support, in the form of a grant, user fee reduction or in-kind services (ie. a “grant”) to community organizations for projects or events that benefit and contribute toward the quality of life of local residents.
Applications are now being received for the Community Grant Program/Requests to Waive Rental Fees. The deadline to apply is Friday, January 30th, 2026.
As a reminder, the Community Grants Program (monetary requests) is intended to support new or one-time projects and events that benefit the community. Organizations receiving ongoing support through the budget process may still apply for additional funding for new initiatives not already covered by their base allocation.
