Please note that effective March 2nd, 2026, reduced load restrictions will be in place throughout the Municipality - to be in line with the County and neighbouring municipalities. Vehicles must comply with the standard 5,000 kilogram (5 ton) per axel limit. The Municipality urges all companies to adjust their delivery schedules and load weights to comply with these current restrictions.
The reduced load period is necessary to protect municipal roads, which are susceptible to damage from the spring thaw. Once road damage has been mitigated, the restrictions will be lifted. Information will be posted on the website and Facebook.
