Notice to Residents: August Hydrant Flushing Underway

Watermain / Hydrant Flushing will take place from August 5-29, 2025 between the hours of 8:00am and 4:00pm.

As a result of the flushing, water may be slightly discoloured or brown/reddish water. The water is entirely safe, however may not be aesthetically pleasing.

If you are aware of flushing taking place on your street, it is best not to run any water until the street is complete. When your street is complete, your house taps should be run at full flow to a faucet without a screen (bathtub, cold water only) for a short time until the water is clear.

Weekly sampling is being conducted to ensure safe water.
