The Village of Merrickville-Wolford annual roadside brushing program has begun and will continue until mid-October.
Roadside brushing removes overgrown trees and brush along municipal roads. This work helps improve driver sightlines, control vegetation, protect the road base from moisture and ice buildup, and provide space for snow storage during winter maintenance.
Planned roads for 2026:
- Corktown Rd
- Montague Road
- Wolford Centre
- Carleys Corners (gravel section)
- Yule Road
Additional brushing locations may be added during the season as required.
